Day 1: Welcome - Ride from Petchaburi to Hua Hin | 67Km

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, you will transfer to the group hotel. We have a 2 hour transfer to Petchaburi to start our ride. Once we get on the bike we leave Petchaburi and head into the rural surroundings, windy roads through the palm trees and paddy fields. We take the coastal route into Cha-am, and further on to the coastal resort of Hua Hin. The final stretch of this first day is 20km along a main road. We will have the hard shoulder to use, but should traffic we too intimidating we will transfer this stretch. The climax of the day; a beautiful seafood dinner on a pier in the centre of the town. Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: From Hua Hin to Prachuap Khiri Khan | 116Km

After breakfast it is time to head out of Hua Hin. To Sam Roi Yot (300 peaks) National Park we go, a park with spectacular limestone formations, where freshwater marshes occupy the valleys between peaks. Riding along the quiet backroads; soaking up the views of the beaches on one side and the limestone peaks in the background. Leaving the park, it is a short trip along a main road, 20km before we take back to the coastal route. Through some small Thai villages we reach the final section, along the beach to Prachuap Khiri Khan. Your hotel has incredible views, and a town renowned for having some of the finest seafood in the country. Local specialities will be on the menu for dinner! Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: The road to Ban Krut | 78Km

The first 12km on the bike this morning will be along the beachfront road. We then head in land, a 45km stretch along the well laid main road is a chance to get the head down and stretch the legs. The option to transfer is there, but this is a quiet area outside the major tourist spots, and provides a nice ride. A serene beach awaits, in the boutique eco-friendly resort in Ban Krut. Grab a hammock and rest those legs whilst listening to the waves rolling in. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: A rest day in beautiful Ban Krut

Today is a day off the bike. A great place to spend it, enjoy the chance to relax on beautiful beaches, stretch your legs and walk around the fishing village or take the chance to swim in the resort's salt water pools.. they've got two. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Back on the bike- head to Chumpon | 118Km

Today we do some serious cycling. 118km of quiet side roads, very little traffic and a chance to use those well rested legs. We stick to the coast, with sea views to the left and the rugged Thai Mountains to our right. The narrow part of Thailand we are now at times on 20km from the Burmese border, before we reach Chumpon where we spend the night. Again, a secluded beach awaits. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Crossing the Isthmus of Kra | 139Km

Time to cross the Isthmus of Kra, the land between the Gulf of Thailand and the Adaman Sea. 60km ride west along undulating roads, through the lush jungle that swamps the mountains around this scenic region. Some varied riding, with hills and twists and turns. We climb to the Pun Ya Ban Waterfall, before enjoying a downhill run in to Ranong. We arrive, a spa town, so time to enjoy the hot mineral spring pool to soothe the legs after two long days on the bike. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: The rolling roads to Khuraburi | 125Km

Today it is time to tackle the valleys. The ups and downs on the rolling road are not extreme but make for an interesting ride. Passing numerous villages, you will be spoilt with great views throughout. The ride ends as we arrive at our little resort which is nestled in the valleys, surrounded by lush tropical forests. A true hidden gem. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: South to Khao Lak | 79km

Today we continue to ride South, through valleys initially but the road levels out as we reach Takua Pa, a former Portuguese settlement. The next part of this journey we head through one of the worst affected areas of the 2004 tsunami. Be prepared to be amazed at how quickly this area has bounced back! We arrive early to the hotel in picturesque Khao Lak, spend time in the amazing pool in the afternoon. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9: The last leg- to tropical Phuket | 118Km

The largest Thai island, Phuket, is our target today. We take on a couple of hills on our way out of Khao Lak, and then the roads are flat all the way to Phang Nga and Phuket. A road in great condition, we will no doubt make good time towards our resort in Nai Yang Beach. Phuket and the mainland are connected by a bridge, where we will stop for a great photo before riding into the hotel. Well done, you've had one hell of a ride! Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
